Dr. Ashish Alexander is Dean of the School of Film and Mass Communication and Head of the English department in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology of Sciences at Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), UP, India. He has a Ph.D. in English from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He worked as a development editor at Pearson Education India and later served as the editor of FORWARD Press magazine.
Dr Alexander also worked briefly as a freelance journalist and has contributed to various national publications. The intellectual formation of modern India is one of his chief areas of interest. He is married to a journalist and has two children.
