David Bastedo – The founding President of CS Lewis College
David Bastedo is the founding President of CS Lewis College an arm of the CS Lewis Foundation. He is a member of the board of trustees of the college. He is a life-long educator who began his teaching career at the high school level and has spent over 45 as an instructor. He has taught English composition and literature, mathematics, chemistry, and various biological subjects at the high school level.
While teaching at the high school level he was also a staff member of Youth for Christ. He is currently Professor of Anatomy at San Bernardino Valley College in Southern California. He has served as the Chair of the Biology Department and Faculty Chair of the College Technology committee. He readily incorporates current educational technologies into his teaching and has been awarded Innovator of the Year at SBVC.
